Why is everyone talking about CBD Oil?
Is your newsfeed full of your friends sharing posts about CBD Oil? It’s the newest health trend and there’s actuality a lot of credible research to back it.
With the discovery of our Endocannabinoid System in the 1990’s, this has led to further research on Hemp and Marijuana, both plants come from the Cannabis family. We have learned that Cannabinoids, one of the over 400 chemical entities from the Cannabis plant, can provide our bodies with several benefits.
So are the people talking about CBD Oil just stoners from their younger years?
Surprisingly, no. So much research has surfaced about the benefits of Hemp Derived CBD Oil that the new health trend simply exploded and the world has picked up on that just like we have seen in the past with any other superfood or major health supplement.
So what are these benefits?
Some of the earliest research on CBD was shown to reduce seizures in children. Research then led to Cancer and other diseases. Here are a few benefits you may find from Hemp Derived CBD:
- Reduces Inflammation
- Pain Relief
- Reduces Vomiting and Nausea
- Suppresses Muscle Spasms
- Reduces Small Intestine Contractions
- Promotes Healthy Skin
- Promotes Better Sleep
- Relieves Anxiety
- Reduces Seizures and Convulsions
- Inhibits Cancer Cell Growth
- Reduces Risk of Artery Blockage
- Reduces Blood Sugar Levels
- Reduces Withdrawl Symptoms
Can I get high from CBD Products?
Getting high is still illegal and since CBD is a legal substance as of December 2018, the answer is no, CBD will not get you high. When you purchase CBD products you will see Full Spectrum (meaning it has CBD and THC compounds in it), Broad Spectrum (meaning it has CBD Compounds in it) and THC Free (usually meaning that only the CBD compound is found and THC has been removed). THC is known as the “high” component. However, if you are purchasing a Hemp Derived product, the THC levels are less than .3%. It’s almost nonexistent. So don’t waste your money if you were looking to score.
Should I jump on the bandwagon?
That’s totally up to you; most of us have chosen to consume it regularly to support our naturally occurring Endocannabinoid System while others are looking for specific benefits. Whatever you decide to do we can assure you that this is just the beginning. The FDA has already approved CBD Drugs and research continues in a big way for the burgeoning CBD Oil industry.
