FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

The Basics

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is the most abundant of the more than 100 known naturally occurring cannabinoids found in hemp plants. CBD has been shown to interact with the human body through the endocannabinoid system. CBD is a non-psychoactive, organic compound that provides potential anti-inflammatory and anti-stress properties.

Is CBD Safe?

Side effects of CBD include nausea, fatigue and irritability. CBD can increase the level in your blood of the blood thinner coumadin, and it can raise levels of certain other medications in your blood by the exact same mechanism that grapefruit juice does. Always consult with your physician if you are on medications.

How much CBD Should I take per day?

The majority of frequent (daily) CBD users find that a dose between 10 and 20 mg (administered once or twice daily) is enough to provide effective relief from a variety of ailments. However, a lot of people out there will find fantastic relief with as little as 1-3 mg per day.

Can I fail a drug test?
